一、Translate the following Chinese passage into English.（30 分） 到底是什麼時候開始的，大家習慣以「年級」來粗分世代。真的是很粗糙的分 法啊！像小學課堂上兩人共用的長桌，拿粉筆在中間畫一條線，看來是井水不犯河 水，卻根本很輕易就能抹除。那樣的長桌不曉得現在還用嗎？問了小我四歲但同年 級的朋友，說是沒用過。小我八歲但仍然同年級的朋友則是殘忍地回答：「那是什 麼東西？」最後和我彼此複寫童年的，竟是大我五歲，被分到「六年級」去的友 人，好感人地說：「有！『不要超線！』、『小氣鬼！』這樣。」
二、Translate the following English passage into Chinese.（30 分） 
 The Bible is filled with reluctant leaders, people who did not choose power but were chosen for it. The Bible makes it clear that leadership is unpredictable： That the most powerful people often don’t get to choose what they themselves will do. Circumstances thrust certain responsibilities upon them, and they have no choice but to take up their assignment. 
 The defining characteristic of a reluctant leader is that he is self-divided. He feels compelled to do things he’d rather not do. This self-division can come in negative and positive forms. 
 The unsuccessful reluctant leader isn’t really motivated to perform the tasks assigned to him. The unsuccessful reluctant leader is passionless. His actions are half-hearted.
三、Write an English essay of no more than 350 words describing the experience of visiting an exhibition.（40 分）
