考慮年齡
Cooperative 合作
lacking in cooperative ability 缺乏合作能力
—可能是身心障礙的患者、3歲以下視為lacking、滿3歲就不能再是這個分類
potentially cooperative 有合作潛力(可經由誘導合作)
—3歲以上認定為有機會合作,如果一個4歲的小孩進來診間哭哭啼啼會認定是potentially cooperative

有將potentially cooperative 的病人分不同類型:uncontrolled失控, defiant對抗, timid膽怯, tense-cooperative緊張合作and whining哭鬧
Frankl behavior rating scale(通常以符號+-來表示)
不考慮年齡,可以量化,可以針對治療過程註記小孩的行為
Definitively negative(- -) 極端不合作,明確表達不配合
—refusal of treatment, forceful crying, fearfulness, or any other overt evidence of extreme negativism
Negative (-) 不配合但沒有直接表達
—reluctance to accept treatment, uncooperativeness, some evidence of negative attitude but not pronounced(sullen, withdrawn)
Positive (+) 大致上都配合,偶爾不願意
—acceptance of treatment; cautious behavior at times; willingness to comply with dentist, at times with reservation , but patient follows the dentist’s directions cooperatively
Definitely positive (++) 超愛看牙醫
—Good rapport with the dentist, interest in the dental procedures,laughter and enjoyment
