49. (1) To put money into the accounts, you write out forms called deposit slips.
(2) Most people keep their money in banks — in checking and savings accounts.
(3) You add up the amount, subtract the money that you want to receive in cash, and write the total deposit.
(4) After that, endorse (write your name on the back of) all your checks and hand them with the slips over to the teller clerk.
(5) On these slips of paper, you put down the amount of money you are depositing — the currency (cash in paper bills) and the checks.
