現今，許多國家都面臨平均壽命延長及人口結構改變的現象。因此，這些國家開始重新思考退休與工作之間的關係。對一部分的年長者來說，到了退休年齡，並不代表他們想要完全離開職場。有些人繼續工作是為了維持收入，有些人希望保持與社會的連結，也有些人期待能有機會繼續運用多年累積的知識與經驗。另一方面，企業如果希望留住年長員工，就必須提供更有彈性的工作安排，並創造適合不同年齡層的工作環境。高齡社會帶來許多挑戰，這些挑戰不只是如何照顧退休人口，更涉及如何讓有意願、有能力繼續工作的年長者擁有適當的選擇，讓他們仍能參與社會，並發揮所長。

二、英譯中：（20 分）
When an electronic device stops working, many consumers face a simple question: should they repair it or replace it with a new one? In many cases, buying a new product may seem easier. Repairs can be expensive, for replacement parts may be difficult to find. Moreover, some devices are not designed to be easily opened or fixed. As a result, products that could still be used often end up being thrown away. This practice not only increases electronic waste but also creates greater demand for the materials and energy needed to manufacture new products. Extending the life of electronic devices can benefit both consumers and the environment. However, making “repair” a practical choice requires more than individual effort. Manufacturers can also play an important role by designing products that are easier to repair and making replacement parts available at reasonable prices.

你在赴美旅行前已經訂好房間，但入住時，被前台報到處人員告知，你尚未付款。在提供訂房及付款紀錄後，對方解釋你一開始的房間預定是在A網站進行，住房7天6夜的款項支付給A網站，但後來此筆預約被轉到B網站處理，由於該旅館接受的預約來自B網站，而紀錄顯示狀態為「尚未付款」，因此你必須進行臨櫃付款，方得入住。由於事出突然，你不得不臨櫃支付美金2,000元，但由於A網站已預收過此筆金額，請寫一封email給A網站，說明你碰到的狀況（提供訂房細節及說明問題）、要求對方釐清為何有A、B網站的混淆狀況、要求退還款項及適度表達你的挫折感或不滿。此封email的長度以250字為限。

Write an English essay of about 300 words to address the following: Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly common in education, and students now can use AI tools for many learning tasks that once required help from teachers. Do you think the growing use of AI will change the role of teachers in education? If so, in what ways might their role change? If not, why do you think their role will largely remain the same?
